In 2002 I had vision of creating a different language program and Personalized Spanish was born: People are our students the first day of their classes, but they become our friends.

La Escuela Del Sol in Costa Rica is an language immersion program for people who want to learn Spanish fast while having an adventure in a tropical paradise. We offer a 1 to 4 week, college level, Spanish language program as well as additional courses for adventure and self enhancement which can be combined with Spanish classes. Whether you want to learn fire dancing, surfing, obtain scuba certification or practice yoga, there is a course for you. We even offer College Credit for our Spanish curriculum! All of our teachers have achieved college degrees and teach a university level curriculum to guarantee you a top of the line education.

Crla Costa Rican Language Academy
Courses / Programs
Costa Rican Language Academy, CRLA, has been providing high quality Spanish language instruction along with an authentic Latin American cultural experience since 1989. CRLA is completely owned and operated by Costa Ricans. All our professors have university degrees as well as ample training and experience. Our Spanish immersion program includes Homestay with local families, Latin dance classes, Costa Rican cooking classes, additional conversation sessions, and other cultural activities. CRLA also has a volunteer program in San José with children, elderly people, or in ecological and conservation projects around the country.
