TheKobe YMCA Japanese Language Schoolprovides an educational/learning environment where young people can "shine" through Japanese language learning. By utilizing our activities, human resources and network, we create environments to help young learners in "self-discovery," "independence" and "self-realization."
You will be given a placement test to determine your appropriate class (beginner / intermediate / advanced). Each course is designed to provide the necessary proficiency in all aspects of "reading" "writing" "listening" and "speaking" in the Japanese language. The final goal of the courses will be to strengthen the skills necessary to enter and obtain an education at a Japanese university.
Special Japanese language lessons can prepare the student for a study abroad exam in Japan and Kobe YMCA also provides English and Math lessons necessary for the exam, which are available upon request. Proceeding to a university, graduate university, technical school or just to learn the Japanese language.
Levels
Beginner Class
Basic language skills will be taught to build "reading" "writing" "listening" and "speaking" abilities for the beginners. The lessons will be given in Japanese and the text used is written in hiragana, katakana and kanji (Chinese characters).
Intermediate Class
Further advanced levels of comprehensive learning will be provided for those who have learned the basic grammar, kanji, vocabulary, basic reading skills and conversational skills.
Advanced Class
Obtain proficiency in the Japanese language required to learn at Japanese institutions of higher education and develop verbal and written expressiveness using the Japanese language.
