Learning incentives from the Japan Student Services Organization and scholarships for international students in Hyogo, Kobe. The Kobe YMCA Scholarship are provided to students with excellent academic achievements and attendance.

Courses / Programs:

You will be given a placement test to determine your appropriate class (beginner / intermediate / advanced). Each course is designed to provide the necessary proficiency in all aspects of "reading" "writing" "listening" and "speaking" in the Japanese language. The final goal of the courses will be to strengthen the skills necessary to enter and obtain an education at a Japanese university.

Special Japanese language lessons can prepare the student for a study abroad exam in Japan and Kobe YMCA also provides English and Math lessons necessary for the exam, which are available upon request. Proceeding to a university, graduate university, technical school or just to learn the Japanese language.

Facilities:

A career guidance room and computer room are available to support the students·studies from all aspects. Facilities to strengthen the students·physical condition and energy levels are also available such as a gymnasium, swimming pool and weight training room.

Extracurricular Activities:
There are extracurricular activities in order to interact with students from all over the world in experiencing Japan. We provide opportunities to deepen the relationship with other students in the same age group through athletic meets with Japanese students at Kobe YMCA and interacting with international volunteer groups.

WAHAHA Japanese Language School provides a 4-week summer Japanese course for adults. We are located in the Tenjin area of downtown Fukuoka, the center of business, economy, administration, transportation, and culture for Kyushu Island (just one hour by air from Tokyo and Yokohama). Our summer Japanese program combines quality Japanese language lessons and Japanese traditional culture activities.
