Our Auckland school is located in a modern building in the centre of the city. We are just a few minutes from the Britomart transport terminal and only a short walk from bars, restaurants, shops, libraries and other city centre amenities. Our Christchurch school is located close to the famous Christchurch Cathedral.

Auckland is New Zealand's largest city and was recently voted as having the 5th highest standard of living in the world. It lies on a narrow stretch of land between the beautiful Manukau and Waitemata harbours. Auckland, also known as the 'City of Sails', is regarded by many as the gateway to New Zealand. Popular destinations such as Rotorua, the Bay of Islands and Taupo are only a few hours away and are perfect for a weekend away. Alternatively, Piha, the Waitakere ranges and Waiheke Island are ideal for day trips.

Taylors College Auckland provides specialised university preparation programs in partnership with leading universities in New Zealand. With successful completion of the Taylors Auckland Foundation Year (TAFY), you will be guaranteed entry into the University of Auckland, AUT University and Massey University. You may also apply for other universities in NZ, Australia, UK or the USA. In 2010, 85% of TAFY students were offered a tertiary place. Our university preparation courses are open to students from New Zealand and international students from around the world.

There are two study options available for Taylors Auckland Foundation Year. If you have superior grades in English and relevant subjects and want to fast track your pathway to University, you can take the Intensive (Accelerated) Program. Intake is in April only and the course is 30 weeks. If you have achieved at least average grades in English and relevant subjects, the Standard Program will be suitable for you. You can start your study in January (39 weeks), July (39 weeks) or August (36 weeks).

Our Certificate in Pre-Foundation Studies has been designed to prepare you for academic study at foundation level.
