Our ELS Language Center in Portland, Oregon on the West Coast of the US is located on NE Holman St, on the lovely campus of Concordia University (CU), less than 30 minutes away from downtown Portland, by way of the excellent and inexpensive public transportation system. With beautiful parks and spectacular mountain views, Portland is perfect for nature lovers. Portland's 15,000-hectare park system offers a wide choice of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, skiing, kayaking and fishing. Students can enjoy weekend trips to Mt. Hood, the Columbia Gorge, the Oregon beaches, Seattle and Vancouver. Portland has the distinction of being named Money magazine's "Best Big City for 2000".

Portland International Airport is just 4 km outside the city center. Our airport is served by many international airlines. We also provide domestic flights to large US cities including Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Denver.
