Each week there is one full day and one half day excursion to a local place of interest. Destinations include cities such as London, Oxford, Windsor, Manchester and Brighton (according to the college location)
Sports & Activities:
Sports may include football, baseball, swimming, tennis, unihoc (indoor / outdoor hockey), cricket, volleyball and other team games. Non-sporting activities may include arts and crafts, video film making and treasure hunts. These activities form part of the daytime programme.
Evening Entertainment:
A full, varied and exciting evening entertainment programme runs every evening, designed to ensure students go to bed tired but happy at the end of each day!
All of our families have been carefully selected for their ability to welcome students from other countries. Each family is vetted and constantly monitored by Ardmore Language Schools and our Family Liaison Co-ordinator to ensure that they provide a safe, secure and welcoming family environment.

Founded in 1995, ECS Scotland is a family run, British Council accredited English language training centre located in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town. Specialising in small group and 1-to-1 training to professional adults, ECS Scotland offers a variety of tailor made courses starting any Monday of the year.Combination Courses combine 15 hours of General English in a small group with a maximum of 5 students and 5, 10 or 15 hours of 1-to-1 tuition, focusing on your specific language needs.
