Our families offer a comfortable homestay in lovely countryside or by the seaside, as well as English language tuition. Most of our families live only an hour or two from London.
Our teachers are all TEFL experienced and offer one to one or small group general or business English. They are caring and ready to improve your written and spoken English.
You will have plenty of opportunity to practice both listening and talking at meals and during the evening. All levels are catered for.

We opened TLI English school in Edinburgh in 1992, after deciding to come home to Scotland after many years teaching abroad. TLI School of English is a family run school and much of our teaching is done by our experienced family team. This makes us very motivated and determined to give our students what they need. In total, our tutors have more than 80 years experience between them.
Our beautiful location in Edinburgh are a lovely environment in which to study and we now offer English Language Courses, TEFL courses, translation services and Exam preparation courses.
