Christian Liberty Academy School System (CLASS):
The Christian Liberty Academy School System (CLASS) in Cook County, Illinois, is an independent and non-denominational K-12 homeschool program serving families throughout the United States and around the world. CLASS consists of thousands of homeschools with students ranging in age from four to adult level. Our program is accredited by NAPS (National Association of Private Schools).

In 1967, Dr. Paul Lindstrom (1939–2002), a pioneer of the modern home school movement, assembled a home study curriculum to meet the need of one student. Other students were soon added, and, in the early years, the tiny ministry staff simply called the project by the generic term, “home study.”

By 1970, the fledgling home study project was becoming more organized, and would soon be officially called Christian Liberty Academy Satellite Schools, or CLASS. The term “Satellite” was used in the older sense of the word, referring to the individual home schools around the world who were using the CLASS program.

Today, CLASS remains an independent and non-denominational K–12 Christian home education program serving thousands of families each year. CLASS has helped over 100,000 families throughout the United States and around the world to get started—and persevere—in home schooling.

Our Mission:
The mission of CLASS is to provide Christian parents with excellent educational products and services that will enable them to renew their children’s minds and thus transform the world for the glory of God.

- Standardized Testing:
CLASS offers both the TestPoint online placement test (grades K-12) and the California Achievement Test (grades 2-12, paper or online). These standardized tests help us assemble an appropriate curriculum and allow you to find out how well your student is doing.

- Two Plans:
When you enroll with CLASS, you can choose the CLASS Plan, which offers greater accountability and comprehensive administrative services, or the Family Plan, where you have more freedom and provide your own administrative services.

- CLASS Handbook and Lesson Planner (book or CD)
- We provide grading, report cards, diplomas, and a transcript
