Summer Program at the HSBC Children's Garden at QBG:Are you searching for a fun and educational summer camp in Queens? The HSBC Children’s Garden at Queens Botanical Garden provides hands-on summer gardening camps for kids ages 5-12. Located in Flushing, Queens NY, our aim is to teach them about gardens, nature, and plants, while they enjoy playing in this beautiful environment. All sessions combine practical gardening activities with environmental education. We also offer spring and fall programs for young gardeners.

Summer Gardening Camps for Kids ages 5-12:
Held in July & August for 2 days a week from 9am to 4pm. Your child can attend on Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Your child is welcome to:
- attend the full 7-week program
- attend for July only
- attend for August only
Enrollment is limited to 25-28 children, who are then divided into 3 groups, based on their age and abilities. We allocate one supervising counselor and two or three interns to each group, so you can be assured that your child will get the individual attention they need. We also offer spring and fall programs for young gardeners.

International Summer School at North Country School, Lake Placid NY

Located in New York State, North Country School's International Summer School (ISS) welcomes international students ages 10-14 from July 5 to August 17 for English language and American culture immersion. Two sessions, each three weeks long, offer experiential language instruction in the morning and enriching activities and excursions in the afternoon. Our experienced teachers, small class size and campus offerings provide an exceptional opportunity to improve language proficiency and experience memorable summertime activities.
ISS is designed around individual language needs within small group instruction. Summer students engage in projects and activities that require them to utilize their rapidly developing English language skills. Summer students become proficient speakers, readers and writers. We carefully balance academics and recreation to ensure that language learning is enjoyable and applicable.
North County School is located close to the village of Lake Placid, in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. Lake Placid is situated just under 5 hours by car north of NYC.

Hills Learning is a language school that provides high-quality Mandarin Chinese classes to adults, teens and children all year-round. This summer, we are teaming up with Chess Educators to provide a unique summer camp experience for boys and girls (ages 5-12) - combine Mandarin Chinese immersion instruction with an interactive Chess program. The program takes place at Léman Manhattan Prep School, in the Financial District of NYC (close to Wall Street).Kids will participate in fun, engaging activities, and they start off the day with a morning wakeup physical activity. In the afternoon, they get engaged in playing Chess and learning fun and effective strategies. All students must sign up for 2 weeks minimum. They can also take the camp for 4 weeks and receive a discount.
Our Chinese language instruction is fun and effective. We follow a textbook designed specifically for children learning Chinese. All language skills are developed, from writing and reading, to speaking and listening. Through interactive games and activities, the students learn the basics of this incredible language.
The chess camp provides an interactive and hands-on approach for kids to learn chess. Chess camp activities include chess instruction and lessons, a chess lab which includes worksheets, problem solving, and more tactics. Kids will also participate in class tournament games with notation and clocks making the camp an exciting and rewarding experience.

Long Island City Kids Summer Camp is located in Western Queens on the western portion of Long Island, NY, 500 feet from East River (Subway line 7, "Vernon Blvd / Jackson Ave"), serving families from LIC, Astoria, Sunnyside, Jackson Heights, Woodside, Forest Hills, Greenpoint and Midtown Manhattan. We are commited to providing an exceptional physical, intellectual and socially enriching experience for preschool age children and elementary school students up to the age of nine. Our summer camp offers a wide range of sports activities for kids. Kids will jump, swing and tumble with coaches during gym, create masterpieces in the classroom and do so much more. These activities are planned on our athletic fields and beautiful green lawn. We will also offer swimming classes during summer camp.
We offer flexible enrollment options. Families have the advantage to enroll their children around their summer plans. A minimum of 2 weeks to start, up to a maximum of 9 weeks, or any combination in between. The more weeks you sign up for, the more you save per week. We are proud to offer swimming classes with Physique Swimming. Daily transportation will be arranged and included in price.

With convenient locations in the North Slope and South Slope areas of Park Slope, Brooklyn NY, Juguemos a Cantar provides a range of Spanish language programs for kids and teens (ages 6 months to 17 years old). We offer summer Spanish camps, Spanish immersion preschool, after-school Spanish classes, Spanish language workshops and much more.Juguemos a Cantar provides Spanish summer camps for young kids ages 2-8.
