Overnight Summer Camps in South Carolina
Camp Chatuga, Mountain Rest SC:
Let your child experience the summer of a lifetime in the stunning mountains of South Carolina. Surrounded by the Sumter National Forest in Mountain Rest SC, Camp Chatuga is a traditional, activity-based summer camp for boys and girls in Grades 1 through 11. 1-4 week study options are available as well as a 3-Day 'Mini Camp' program. Campers choose their own daily activities from over 20 athletic and educational programs.
About Camp Chatuga:
After working as summer counselors at a boys' camp in North Carolina, former Furman University roommates and basketball teammates Nield Gordon and Everette Pigg envisioned their own boys' camp in 1956. Over 50 years on, our love for Chatuga and commitment to continuing its tradition are reflected in the fun-filled vacations still being enjoyed by new generations of Chatugans!

South Carolina State Museum - Summer Camps

Located in downtown Columbia SC, the South Carolina State Museum provides a wide range of entertaining and educational summer camps for children. In partnership with Engineering for Kids, the museum offers a variety of 1-week day camps that focus on combining engineering and science with fun for all campers.Each week, the camp days will be broken down into morning and afternoon sessions. • Celebrating our 20th anniversary, International Language Camps is a European camp for children and teenagers ages 6 to 17 years old from around the world. • We offer holidays and vacations with a multitude of activities and a complete language teaching program, all in the heart of the French Alps.
