Surrounded by the Sumter National Forest in Mountain Rest SC, Camp Chatuga is a traditional, activity-based summer camp for boys and girls in Grades 1 through 11. 1-4 week study options are available as well as a 3-Day 'Mini Camp' program. About Camp Chatuga:

After working as summer counselors at a boys' camp in North Carolina, former Furman University roommates and basketball teammates Nield Gordon and Everette Pigg envisioned their own boys' camp in 1956. Over 50 years on, our love for Chatuga and commitment to continuing its tradition are reflected in the fun-filled vacations still being enjoyed by new generations of Chatugans!

Camp Chatuga has been accredited by the American Camp Association since 1990.

• The Goethe-Institut offers summer camps & year-round German courses for juniors & high school students / teenagers at attractive locations throughout Germany and Austria, including Berlin, Bonn, Leipzig and Munich.
