Highly recommended indeed! Wanting to improve my German, I chose to take a six-week course at Treffpunkt in Bamberg. I loved it. I found the staff there are extremely supportive and friendly and I met some amazing people. At Treffpunkt you don't just sit in a classroom 24/7, there are optional activities to take part in each week - this is a fantastic way to test your German skills amongst people you feel comfortable with - and you will only get better!

Also, Bamberg is a beautiful/old town - a perfect setting to improve your German. It's not too big, meaning lots of distractions, but at the same time not so small that it's boring. And the people are very friendly.

I left Treffpunkt after six weeks of intensive learning and I feel the difference. I speak to my German family with more confidence now and can understand a tremendous amount more. So if you are looking to do a German language course, congratulations you've found it! Do not feel shy to contact these guys and if you do decide to go, it won't be long before you feel a part of the Treffpunkt family.

Hello my Treffpunkt family! Thinking of you from Australia :)

I found Treffpunkt online last summer on the internet and it seemed to meet what I was looking for in a language school. After months on thinking and planning, I finally did it. And it was BETTER than I had hoped. The class was perfect for my skill level and all the teachers were appropriately on point, and fun. I know I improved my german immensly in the 2 weeks I was there. My only regret is that I could not stay longer! 1 or 2 full months would have been much better. But there's always next time!

If you decide to attend Treffpunkt, I promise you will not be bored. There are always a wide range of activities planned, virtually everyday. Everyone I met there was very friendly and fun to hang out with. The city is also quite charming, and I believe is better than a big city. I'd say a large percentage of the locals dont speak much english, so for those who want to practice, it's the perfect place.

After a few years without using my German language skills at all, I decided to take a 2 week intensive course at Treffpunkt to refresh it. I am really happy to say that I managed to achieve the same level of proficiency and fluency in 2 weeks and really enjoyed the mix of beautiful town, varied and interesting activities, really friendly nd inclusive atmosphere at the school and very good teaching materials, methods and of course teachers themselves. Classes are very relaxed but well structured and above all fun.

Also this wasn't my first time in Treffpunkt. I spent 4 months there in 2007 and I think that very little has changed which in this case is a good thing. I would have loved to stay for longer this time.

I would really recommend Treffpunkt to anybody who wants to learn, further or simply refresh their German language skills in a really fun and social environment.
