ICARUS Wings at Groundschool London:
Groundschool London is located in Putney in the Borough of Wandsworth in south-west London. Situated on the ground floor of a new building on the South Circular Road, we provide advanced aviation language proficiency courses for all flight crew.
It is a short walk from Putney Station and accessible via several bus routes. The school is in a beautiful area and only a few miles from Heathrow Airport. It is also close to many of the main hotels used by airlines for crew lay-overs. As well as being close to the rail station, the nearest Underground station (Putney Bridge) is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the centre. Nearby Putney High Street is full of shops and restaurants. Central London is only 20 minutes away by rail or Underground.
The centre is modern with a comfortable classroom, and equipped with state of the art FTD flight simulators (Boeing 737-800 and from summer, 2018, Airbus A320).
