Breezy Point Day School, Langhorne: Breezy Point Day School in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is an accredited preschool offering full and half day programs to children ages one through Kindergarten (1-6 years). The Caterpillar Program(children 1 - 2.6 years): The Caterpillar program is designed exclusively for children 1 year - 2.6 years of age. Two-day programs are available for this age group only.
Half Day School (children 2 - 5 years): Half Day School is offered for children 2 - 5 years of age. Children may attend 2 half days (two-year-olds only), 3 half days or 5 half days per week. Hours are 9 or 9:15 a.m. to 11:30 or 11:45 a.m. A Lunch Bunch option is offered for an additional hour which provides more social time for the students with each other and their teachers AND gives Parents more time to do what they need to do. Ending times for half day Lunch Bunch are 12:30 or 12:45.
Full Day School (children 1- 6 / Kindergarten): Full Day School is offered for children 1 year old through Kindergarten. Parents may bring their children anytime between the hours of 7am and 6 pm. We offer a comprehensive curriculum based on the BP belief that children learn "best" that which they learn with "pleasure". The learning materials that fill each classroom are plentiful and the classrooms change with all the new units the children are studying.
Junior Kindergarten (Kids 5 years): Junior Kindergarten is for the child who just misses the Kindergarten cut-off. Students in this program generally turn 5 June through October of the school year. It is offered either full day (any hours between 7 am and 6 pm) or half day mornings Mon.-Fri. with a "Lunch Bunch" option). This program is an advanced curriculum. Many of these students have already completed the BP 4-year-old curriculum or another pre-kindergarten program.
Kindergarten (Kids 5 - 6 years): The Breezy Point Private Academic Kindergarten is open to students who are 5 by September 1st of that school year. Reading is taught using the"SUPERKIDS" program. This is a balanced literacy curriculum which helps to make reading and writing meaningful. Mathematics is taught with the help of the Scott Foresman-Addison Wesley Program. This program uses "hands-on" manipulatives and encourages cooperative learning. Breezy Point Kindergarten offers a low teacher to student ratio of 1:10.

Summer Camp (for Children & Middle School Juniors 2 - 14 years): Breezy Point Day Camp is accredited by the American Camping Association and has been family owned and operated since 1955. We offer 4, 6 or 8 week programs for campers ages 2 through 14. Campers entering 8th or 9th grade are part of our Counselors In Training Program. Regular camp hours are 9:30 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday. Extended hours are available from 7:00am to 6:00pm for an additional fee.
