Holy Ghost Preparatory School, located adjacent to the busy I-95 corridor in metropolitan Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a private Catholic college prep school for young men offering grades 9 through 12. Holy Ghost Prep is a vibrant community of 500+ young men preparing for college and adult life through a challenging program which stresses the cultivation of students' unique gifts and talents, academic excellence, and generous service to the poor. With Christ at the center, Holy Ghost Preparatory School aspires to form young men morally, intellectually, and spiritually in the Spiritan tradition. This tradition fosters the development of community in "one heart and one mind," the cultivation of each student's unique gifts, academic excellence, and generous service to the poor.

Activities:
At Holy Ghost Prep, participation in extra-curricular activities is an important part of the formation of community "in one heart and one mind." More than 75% of Holy Ghost students compete in interscholastic athletics and all HGP students are involved in extra-curricular activities either on- or off-campus. 26 inter-scholastic teams and 44 current extra-curricular organizations and clubs offer students a wide range of choices for personal and community growth and travel across the region, across the nation and even around the world. Extracurricular activities take place during the school day, after school, and on weekends. Each student is encouraged to listen to an­nouncements made at Morning Assembly and look to the student announcement board for more information concerning starting dates, times, and moderators. New clubs may form, on a formal or informal basis, throughout the year as well, in consultation with the faculty and the approval of the Principal.

Holy Ghost Preparatory School is a Roman Catholic secondary educational institution founded by the members of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, the Spiritans. Holy Ghost Preparatory School serves God by serving each student through a commitment to excellence in liberal arts and sciences education and through a deep concern for moral, spiritual, and ethical values, grounded in the traditions of Roman Catholicism and the Congregation of the Holy Spirit.

The Media Theatre - Broadway Musical Theater Camp

Located just west of Philadelphia in Media, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, The Media Theatre - Broadway Musical Theater Camp offers theatre, acting and voice classes for young children of six years upwards as well as teenagers. Students develop an ability to improvise and to bring one's own personal and honest response to the text or the script. All acting classes within The Media Theatre School of The Theatre follow and 8-week schedule are based on the Sanford Meisner Technique, which follows the mantra "Acting is living as truthfully as one can under an imaginary circumstance."

We also offer acting classes and theatre workshops during winter, spring and summer school breaks. In the summer we offer two week acting camps. This intensive, two-week day camp is a fun, enriching and rewarding experience. Campers write, design, and perform an improvisational theatre production that is performed on the Media Theatre stage for family, friends and the general public. The School of Theatre has been noted for it's professionalism and commitment to solid training for a career in the professional theatre.
