Mission Statement:

The shifting sands of time and the complex issues of life demand a bedrock foundation for stability and success. The primary objective of Sunset Christian School is to lay a spiritual and academic foundation based on biblical principles for all the children who attend. “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Christ Jesus.”

Homework:

It is important to begin to train students to have disciplined study habits. Parents should keep in mind that study patterns developed during the elementary years pave the way for stronger foundations during high school and college. Homework for students generally ranges from 15-60 minutes, four nights per week. Parents observing that their child is having difficulty with homework assignments should contact their child’s teacher.
