Located in Costa Mesa, Orange County CA, Coastal Children's Learning Center provides preschool and Pre-K classes for children ages 18 months to 6 years. Our program is a learn-through-play, developmental course which follows the High Scope Curriculum. We are licensed for 39 children and have 8 staff members, and strive to maintain a low ratio of 1:8. We also offer a day care service.

We believe that learning is most effective for children when it is provided through ‘play’. Play is the child’s work, where education is life. Children's Village Preschool in Orange County, approximately 3 miles north of Santa Ana, is a developmental, play based preschool offering programs to children from ages 18 months to 6 years. Our Preschool enrolls children 18 months through 6 years. Being potty trained is not a requirement.

Our school comprises of a dedicated, generous group of parents and teachers who are committed to providing a multi-lingual, multi-cultural English and Mandarin Chinese environment where children can freely develop their gifts and interests. Since the inception of the school in February 2008, the faculty and parents have been working very hard to realize these goals. We serve families from Chinatown, Cow Hollow, Russian Hill, Pacific Heights and throughout San Fransico Bay communities.

Since the school was established, we have made great strides in implementing a Reggio Emilia inspired teaching philosophy in a Mandarin immersion classroom. To facilitate language reinforcement at home, we have produced and published weekly Youtube videos of Mandarin songs and stories. The teachers have also infused Chinese traditions, such as ancient poetry and festival celebrations, into the program to foster cultural awareness and expose our children to more sophisticated vocabularies.
