El Kateb for Educative Software is an online Formation Centre, providing web teaching since 2003. We have taught more than 2,000 students through our copyrighted CD-Roms teaching system all over the world. Many of them contacted us after a first stable basic Arabic grade and continued with us either through our intensive courses in Cairo or through the online system, until reaching a good level of Arabic. All our teachers are native speakers, with long experience in foreign language teaching. During all these years, we remained an important reference point to private schools of foreign languages in Egypt, but also to many foreign companies, Caritas Egypt,and embassies related to Arabic projects. Arabic Modern Standard Online - Beginners

Learn to read and write Arabic - Standard Modern - Beginners.

This course for Beginners is designed to give an effective initiation to Arabic language. At the end of the course you will start reading, writing and understanding the Arabic language with minimum effort.

43 lessons to be done in approx. 15 hours. First lessons are very simple and easy to assimilate. Each lesson will teach you a new letter. In few weeks, you become familiar with the Arabic alphabet, learn lots of useful words and be able to use more than 1,000 typical sentences. Lots of fun exercises will help you to remember and assimilate new vocabulary. This course is divided into 4 units.

Arabic Modern Standard Online - Intermediate
Improve your Arabic language online or abroad getting acquainted with Arabic Culture - Summer Courses.

10 days - two weeks or more.
Intensive courses in Arabic language and Culture online or in Cairo, Alexandria, Hurghada and Sharm Desert (during winter) in Egypt.

Proposed subjects:
a. Arabic language - Modern Standard; Intermediate - Advanced levels.
b. Egyptian Colloquial or Lebanese.
c. Combined Course (Modern + Colloquial).
d. Culture;
e. Contemporary Art.

A. Arabic language.
Course A2/A3 - Colloquial.
For beginners followed by an advanced course through Egyptian films, songs and poems.
Course A4 – Arabic Grammar and Sentence Structures + Texts Analysis - Advance course to improve and develop Arabic level, listening/pronunciation and writing skills.
Recommended also for persons who have started learning Arabic but then for some time they have stopped practicing the language. Specifically we shall work on the structure of the Arabic language, i.e. the means to coordinate words and sentences with a big number of exercises, and this will surely improve your vocabulary. Also we shall work and continue with the arabic grammar and text analysis to writing technique and improvement of the style.

Course B1 - Introduction to the Arabic culture

C. Contemporary Art.
Course C1 – Pharaonic Art over the centuries. A panoramic view of this rich and basic civilization.
Course C4 – Contemporary art.

Arabic Modern Standard - 20 hours of online individual studies. Or 40 hours of Abroad Advanced Studies, in Egypt. 10 days - 14 days, depending on your availability: 10 working days x 4 hours per day.

Arabic Intensive Courses in Egypt.
Intensive courses in Cairo, Alexandria or Hurghada, Egypt at College with accommodation + half board for overseas students. (Single or double rooms).

We can host groups of 15-20 students at a time. Individuals are also welcome, including families and smaller groups of between 2-3 students.

Guest-House (in the College) : You can book a single/double room, with shower in/out of the room. The price will be calculated according to your needs and period of reservation, all including 1/2 board. An extensive outdoor area is also available for daytime and sports activities. Younger candidates can take part in the Wadi El Nil Egyptian Scouts weekly meetings and Activity Programs. Cultural and Touristic visits can also be arranged in advance.
