Arab Academy was founded in 1997 and is based in the heart of Cairo, Egypt. To date, Arab Academy boasts one of the most successful Arabic Language immersion programs in the Middle East serving individuals and institutions from the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Far East. In 2008, it entered into a cooperation agreement with Amideast by which it would be responsible for delivering Amideast's Arabic language study abroad programs that aims at serving students from 20 of the top universities in the United States. It also hosts students from African countries sponsored by the Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah.
Arab Academy aims at promoting Arabic language and culture throughout the world by leveraging its expertise and experience in teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language. The Arab Academy is independent in nature and does not promote any particular school of thought. It respects all faiths and races equally.

Arabic language study abroad immersions programs at Arab Academy are the fastest way to learn the Arabic language and culture. Logistics of accommodation in Cairo are handled by the Arab Academy and are billed separately. Students typically stay in small hotels or apartments near the Academy so that they are able to easily commute to and from class.
