Photos of Delphi Academy of Los AngelesTo qualify for our English immersion program, international students must have an acceptable level of English literacy in both spoken and written English (usually a very strong intermediate level).

Each student must also have good grades from their current school in their native language, as well as very good letters of recommendation from three of their teachers. In addition, they must pass a Skype interview.

Live with an American Family:

Homestay accommodation with a local host family can be arranged. These are Delphi staff members and families who are happy to have international students live in their home for the duration of their stay in Los Angeles. This is an excellent way to quickly improve your English.

Delphi Academy can provide the initial contact information for the host family. However, it is your responsibility to interview the potential host family to determine if they are the best match for your child.

We do not vouch for any of the referred families, and are not responsible for your child/children while they are the care of a host family.
