English Immersion Programs for International Students: Accommodation with an American host family available Academic Year - English Immersion Program: - For international elementary school, middle school & high school students
• Program Duration: The average high school student may attend the English immersion program for a full academic year or more, while an elementary school student or middle school student may choose to complete a shorter program.
The duration of the program depends on many factors, including the age of the student on admission, their current level of English and how hard they work.
• Program Content: In a well-rounded educational environment, our foreign students will participate in:
- Basic English reading, writing, & conversation classes - Elective classes - Social activities
By attending an American school and participating in the same classes as native English-speaking students, international students are fully immersed in the English language and American culture.
English Camps for International Students: - In Spring, Summer, and Winter - Course Duration: 4 weeks but this can be extended up to 3 months. Camp participants are not enrolled in our full academic program, and so they do not need to obtain an F-1 (student) visa
The aim of our English immersion camps is that international students will be living, talking, breathing, and dreaming English after just four weeks!
International students are immersed in English through participation in classes, workshops and fun activities with American students.
Daily Classes: - Intensive English Immersion (2 hours of vocabulary, conversation, and writing instruction) - Academic instruction (Learning study skills, Reading in English) - Sports class (Physical Education)
Elective Classes Options: - Computer Science - Woodshop - Art - Music - Dance
Outside of their English immersion classes, international students spend time with American students, building friendships and developing their understanding of the English language by asking questions and discussing topics of interest.

Remarkable Girls is a unique theatre program located on the Peninsula in Millbrae and San Francisco in Northern CA, offering classes, private lessons, and performance opportunities to girls ages 9-18 years. Laurel Hill is the largest co-op nursery school in the Bay Area, with approximately 80 families enrolled. We currently have a staff of 8 teachers, and with parent participation our adult-to-child ratio is roughly 1 to 5.
