Northside Catholic Academy:
Northside Catholic Academy (NCA) is the official, Catholic parish school of six Catholic parishes in three Northside Chicago neighborhoods in Cook County, IL: Andersonville, Edgewater and Rogers Park. Northside Catholic Academy has two campuses which are both located in the Edgewater neighborhood, approximately 7 miles north of the Loop. Our Primary School Campus (PreK-5) is located at 6216 N. Glenwood, Chicago, IL 60660, and our Middle School Campus (6-8 and PreK), 5525 N. Magnolia, Chicago, IL 60640. We have an outstanding retention rate - 97% of our Kindergarten through to 8th graders continued on at NCA from last year.

Curriculum:
Schoolwide learning expectations in each content area unite the Northside Catholic Academy curriculum. This means that at graduation, students will have received instruction, experienced activities, and demonstrated competencies in each of the schoolwide goals. Each grade level’s curricular outline delineates specific, age appropriate skills that ultimately lead to the achievement of the major outcomes. As a result, at every grade level students work in a progressive manner to acquire knowledge and learn skills which are inter-related and which build upon one another.
At NCA, students study five major content areas at every grade level. These are Religion, Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. Special classes in Physical Education, Music, Visual Arts, Computer Technology, and Spanish Language are also offered in many grade levels.

The Russian School of Mathematics

The Russian School of Mathematics (RSM) was created in Boston 15 years ago. Today, RSM has over 6,000 students in more than a dozen branches located in 5 states. This fall, we are very excited to be opening a Russian School of Mathematics in Naperville, IL, just 30 miles west of Chicago. RSM provides a unique, award-winning after-school mathematics enrichment program, based on the best practices of advanced math schools in Russia and Europe and adapted to the U.S. educational environment. We teach students at all levels - elementary school, middle school, high school and home school. We offer a whole academic year program, with weekly classes and homework.
The RSM program was developed based on classical traditions of systematic math education. Latin School of Chicago
Courses / Programs
Latin School of Chicago located adjacent to Lincoln Park on the North Side is an independent, co-educational college preparatory school for students in junior kindergarten through to grade twelve. Latin is the oldest independent school in the city of Chicago. The school was designed to provide students with a rigorous college-preparatory education in the classical tradition, with a curriculum that was heavily influenced by classical studies and the study of the Greek and Latin languages, hence the name “Latin School." Latin is still taught at the school today and is offered from sixth-grade onwards.This academic load is balanced by a wide array of outside opportunities to play sports; be in the Middle School play; participate on a competitive math, science, or chess team; work on the student newspaper; perform in the band or chorus; be a member of student government; do community service; or participate in any number of other activities.

Delphi Academy of Chicago is an independent, co-educational, non-sectarian day school that offers a preschool through to eighth grade program. The campus is located in Lombard, a suburb just 30 miles west of Chicago. Delphi Academy of Chicago is one of several schools in the Delphi Schools Network, a group of independent schools sharing uniquely developed curriculum and teaching methods. The Einstein Academy is a school for academically talented students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through to High School located in Elgin, a suburb approximately 40 miles north-west of Chicago in Kane County in north-eastern Illinois, close to Naperville and Aurora (One block south of I-90 and Route 31 on Davis Road in Elgin). Our accelerated curriculum is taught one year in advance, but our children our encouraged to learn at the level that most challenges their minds. Our founder, Cathryn Ilani, realized an unfulfilled demand for a school that was able to provide an exceptional education for advanced students as well as being well-rounded and affordable.
