Valley Youth Theatre, Phoenix
Courses / Programs
Located in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona, Valley Youth Theatre is a world-class, nationally recognized non-profit theatre. We provide classes and workshops which focus on acting technique, acting for teens, musical theatre, improvisation, story-telling and play building, audition prep, plus one-on-one instruction for children, teenager and young adults ages 3–19. These students may then participate in quality live theatre productions. For 20 years, VYT has trained young people in Arizona in all aspects of the theatre arts and the lessons of life. Our comprehensive program offers weekday and weekend classes as well as week-long workshops for performing arts students of all experience levels.

We also offer the VYT Internship Program allowing dependable, professional, and energetic teens (15+) to assist with performing arts classes and camps. VYT is an award-winning theatre, and was recently selected as "Best of Arizona Children’s Performing Arts" and received the 2008 Governor’s Arts Award for Arts in Education.
