The International School of Tucson operates an August – May school year, divided into two semesters with a four-week Winter Break, an eight-week Summer Break and a one-week break (Fall Break and Spring Break) approximately in the middle of each semester.
IST also recognises a number of different holidays, festivals and national celebrations throughout the year as an important element of our co-curricular programme. These events are not mandatory and are held outside the teaching day to allow parents and friends to attend; some occur in the evening. However be warned - food is inevitably an important element of each event.

Based in Scottsdale, Maricopa County, Arizona, Kidtastics offers mobile gymnastics, dance, cheer, and yoga classes for preschool and elementary school kids during school semesters as well as private / non-private swim lessons during the summer months. Kidtastics classes are held at schools and community centers that are in Scottsdale and surrounding areas such as Paradise Valley and Phoenix. Kidtastics mobile programs can also come to your home, child's school, or designated location.Kidtastics programs are all entertaining, thrilling, and at the drop of a hat we are at your service. Kidtastics, LLC was established when two Arizona State graduates and an Early Childhood Development professional saw the need to make it easy for parents to engage their children in different physical activities and to provide fun, safe, and educational programs for children in the Valley. Founded in 1988, Tesseract School is an independent, private day school located in Paradise Valley, Maricopa County, Arizona committed to the development and education of students from pre-school through 12th grade. We are a non-denominational and co-educational institution, serving students from Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Phoenix and surrounding communities.
