Rochester Independent College, in the County of Kent, just east of London, offers a distinctive alternative to a conventional sixth form and a stepping stone between school and university. Established in 1984, we accept day students from the age of 11. Boarding is available for A-level students and Year 11 students on GCSE courses who are aged 16 or older.
Students come to us from all over the UK and the world, as well as the local area. There are no bells ringing, no uniforms and everybody is on first name terms. The College has an atmosphere closer to university than school where students are treated as young adults.

Thomas's London Day Schools are a group of family run, co-educational schools for children from the ages of two and a half to thirteen. We offer first class Kindergarten, Lower, Middle and Upper School education in our preparatory schools throughout London. We offer live, on-line teaching to groups and individuals and can provide online tuition in individual subjects at any level or a full taught secondary school curriculum leading to examinations if required. In addition, we offer intensive, short-term tuition prior to examinations. We believe home education should be tailored towards each student’s own capability and needs. Our courses are diverse, flexible and designed to meet individual requirements.
