The Language Centre at University College Cork:
The Language Centre at University College Cork offers intensive courses and part time courses in ELT during the academic year, and also has a Summer School from July to mid-September. The courses are open to both students of UCC, and those who wish to take one of the many courses available at the centre. The English language courses are offered in English for general, academic, and professional purposes.

Cork is known as Corcaigh in Irish, and is sometimes called "Ireland's Venice" because of its many bridges over channels of the River Lee. It is the third city in Ireland. It is a vibrant place with a young population. Cork offers much to its visitors. The city has many fine restaurants (nearby Kinsale is known as the gourmet capital of Ireland), cinemas, theatres, art galleries, and shopping centres.
It is just 20 minutes away from some of the most spectacular scenery in Western Europe. Only 20 minutes away you can visit the heritage town of Cobh (pronounced Cove) where the Titanic made its last port of call.
In Ireland sports are very important, and nowhere more than in Cork, the home of hurling, an ancient sports game that is only played in Ireland. Cork currently lead the roll of honour in All-Ireland winners with 30 All-Ireland titles, a fact all Cork people are very proud of. Each weekend it is possible to see live sports in one of the many sporting venues around Cork city. So, why not go to see the magnificent game of hurling when in Cork.

English Language Camp Ireland
Courses / Programs
• English Language immersion course for students aged 12 to 17 in County Sligo in the beautiful West of Ireland!• The programme consists of 3 hours of English tuition each morning. Afternoons are filled with a choice of fun activities including Kayaking, Horse-Riding, Cookery Lessons, Irish Dancing and Zip-Lines in the local forest park!
• Our course is also attended by Irish teenagers who act as Student Guides for our international students. The Irish teenagers attend activities and live with the students in our lakeside accommodation to ensure they have an enjoyable language learning holiday.
• Evenings are spent relaxing and include English movie nights, Quizzes, Board games, table tennis competitions etc.
• English Language Camp Ireland takes place on Lough Arrow in the west of Ireland. The residential accommodation is located on the shores of one of Ireland's most beautiful lakes.
• Our unique weekend excursion takes students to a remote island on the lake where our students along with Irish teenagers, teachers and activity leaders camp overnight.

The Language Institute is an ideal place to study in Dublin. It combines ease of access to the city centre with a calm and quiet environment that is perfect for learning. Our students are typically adults who are looking for something extra from their language course. We have eight classrooms and can cater for about ninety students when full. We offer small classes and the school has a real English-speaking environment. Irish College of English is a year-round, professionally-run English language school in Dublin, Ireland. We provide a wide range of beginner to advanced level English classes to adults and children from around the world.
