The Language Centre at University College Cork:
The Language Centre at University College Cork offers intensive courses and part time courses in ELT during the academic year, and also has a Summer School from July to mid-September. The courses are open to both students of UCC, and those who wish to take one of the many courses available at the centre. The English language courses are offered in English for general, academic, and professional purposes.

Cork is known as Corcaigh in Irish, and is sometimes called "Ireland's Venice" because of its many bridges over channels of the River Lee. It is the third city in Ireland. Cork currently lead the roll of honour in All-Ireland winners with 30 All-Ireland titles, a fact all Cork people are very proud of. • English Language immersion course for students aged 12 to 17 in County Sligo in the beautiful West of Ireland!• The programme consists of 3 hours of English tuition each morning. Afternoons are filled with a choice of fun activities including Kayaking, Horse-Riding, Cookery Lessons, Irish Dancing and Zip-Lines in the local forest park!
• Our course is also attended by Irish teenagers who act as Student Guides for our international students. The Irish teenagers attend activities and live with the students in our lakeside accommodation to ensure they have an enjoyable language learning holiday.
