Chamber College, Gzira:
Located in Gzira in northern Malta, Chamber College is one of a kind in its unique teaching methods of the English language. We offer a range of English courses to students from around the world of all levels - from total beginner to advanced.

General English Semi - Intensive:
General English (Beginner to Advanced level). This course is designed to help students improve their communication skills.Teaching is focused on the four essential language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Special attention is paid to vocabulary, grammar and language fluency. Students are encouraged to use the English language by means of role-play, group discussions and a variety of real life situations. The course programme is 20 sessions of 45 minutes each per week.

General English Intensive:
General English (Beginner to Advanced level). This course is designed to give the student a solid, structured foundation in the English Language. It is ideal for students who wish to improve their fluency in a relatively short time. Teaching is focused on thefour essential language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Special attention is paid to vocabulary, grammar, conversation, and pronunciation. Students are encouraged to use the English language by means of role-play, group discussions and real life situations. There are regular tests to monitor students’ progress. The course programme is 30 sessions of 45 minutes each per week.

General English One-to-One:
Individual tuition has the advantage of giving the student personal attention as well as the opportunity to concentrate on specific areas of language requirements. The student can choose the number of sessions required. Lessons are of 45 minute duration. One-to-One tuition is also available for each of the exam preparation courses.
 
Cambridge General English:
FCE (First Certificate in English) is at Level 3 in the Cambridge system. FCE is widely accepted in commerce, banking, industry, airlines and tourism. It fulfils the English language entrance requirements for some universities and colleges. The course programme is 30 sessions of 45 minutes each per week.

CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) is at Level 4 in the Cambridge system. CAE indicates a high level of language competence for candidates wishing to use English for study or professional purposes. It fulfils the English language entrance requirement for the majority of British universities and higher education institutions. The course programme is 30 sessions of 45 minutes each per week.

CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) is at Level 5 in the Cambridge system. CPE indicates a level of competence, which fulfils the English Language entrance requirement for British universities and many universities in other English-speaking countries. It is also accepted by other institutions of higher education and professional bodies throughout the world. CPE is a very valuable certificate because in some countries, it provides exemption from local English language requirements. It can be accepted for admission to courses, or for employment, where a thorough knowledge of English is required. The course programme is 30 sessions of 45 minutes each per week.

IELTS:
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who needs to study or use English as a language of communication. Certification is widely accepted by educational institutions and it is advantageous for entry to training courses, recruitment and for immigration purposes. It is an important qualification for any student wishing to study for a degree course at a university in the UK or Australia.
