The school is managed by husband and wife, both with Master’s Degrees (MBA and Early Childhood Education with Montessori certifications).
At our school, we look at each individual child as a unique person possessing the ability to learn, love and live; encouraging them to express their feelings and develop an autonomous person, competent in all areas of life. Parents can entrust us with their children with confidence, knowing that they will always be treated with kindness, love and respect. We inspire children to love to learn and achieve a lifetime of success.

* We offer an individualized curriculum that is "child-centered".
* This allows each child to learn and develop at his/her own pace, reinforcing learning capabilities without ignoring signs of possible learning disabilities.
* Primary subject areas include Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Geography, Arts, Science and Mathematics.
* All lessons allow children to begin their journey from the concrete to the abstract through manipulation, experimentation and invention.
* A Montessori curriculum is designed to challenge students to integrate and synthesize information, identify and develop problem-solving and decision-making skills through critical thinking.
The world of modern education and business favors creative thinkers who combine personal initiative with strong collaborative skills, which is exactly the characteristics that Montessori education nurtures. Montessori programs, based on self-directed, non-competitive activities, help children develop good self-images and the confidence to face challenges and change optimism.
Since they have been encouraged to make decisions from an early age, these children are problem solvers who can make choices and manage their time well. They have been encouraged to exchange ideas and to discuss their work freely with others and good communication skills ease the way in new settings.
"The entire International Bi-lingual Montessori School staff goes above & beyond expectations to ensure a safe, fun and productive learning environment. The teachers, assistants, directors and before and after-school care staff are wonderful. Such a family-centered environment facilitates learning at International Bilingual Montessori School." - Malaika.
"I have personally observed my daughter in the International Bilingual Montessori School environment several times. In addition to the true Montessori base program, there is unparalleled variety of in-school activities. This is our third year with IBMS, so all the remarkable progress has happen on their watch.
We are both (my husband as well) UM math professors, and, early childhood education being one of my hobbies, we cannot provide the first class Montessori curriculum the school offers. As a special note, the children are taught to be polite, self-sufficient and social. That sets correct background to all the activities." - Anna.
