French Immersion-Belle-Isle-en-mer:
French Immersion is a French language school situated in the countryside in a small and peaceful hamlet (rural settlement) on Belle-Île-en-Mer, a French island off the coast of Brittany in the department of Morbihan in the north-west of France, 14 km from the Quiberon peninsula. We are located 5 km from the harbour (Le Palais) and 4 km from the village of Locmaria (one of the four communes of Belle Île). It is 45 minutes by ferry from Quiberon to Le Palais. French Immersion provides year-round French language homestay packages for individuals or groups for all levels from beginners to advanced. Students stay with their teacher while learning the French language. Your teacher, Michel, has been teaching French Literature and French as a second language, since 1982.

Year-round French language homestay packages for individuals / groups (all levels catered for from beginners to advanced):
- French Language Immersion (Package 1):
A whole week at the teacher’s home with bedroom and private bathroom ( 7, 6 or 5 days) in a traditional renovated island house:
- 3 meals a day.
- 3 hours of instruction daily, conversations. I associate you to my social and professional life, as much as possible.
- 1 or 2 days, depending on the number of days you’ve taken : outdoors activities, tours.
- You can come on your own or with a friend or with your partner. You just share your 3 hours as you wish , all combinations are possible: 3 hour tuition together, 1 ½ hour each, 2 hours for one and 1 for the other.
- French Language Immersion (Package 2):
2, 3 or 4 day weekends at the teacher's home:
- 3 meals a day and 3 hours of instruction each day.
- For weekends, up to 3 people can be accommodated (preferably of same level). Extra charge for the third person and same fare for one or two.
- Specific Tailor-Made French Language Immersion Packages:
Other packages can be arranged to suit the needs and requirements of students. A teacher who visits you at your home, for a week or so, wherever you are. The teacher will cook French food and teach you French 4 hours a day, and join you in some activities so you can practice your French as if you were in France. You pay the daily charge and for the plane ticket. The teacher will travel with you in France or any other French-speaking country depending what the student require. The teacher will act as a guide and an interpreter.
