The college was founded in 1989 in response to the steadily growing public demand for professional training in the area of complementary medicine.

The changing attitudes in health care and the increasing trend towards the use of natural therapies are reflected by the success of the college to date.

Aim:
Our aim is to introduce you to a world of complementary therapies and educate you in the area of your choice.

Holistic Approach:
The college is based on the principle of working with body mind and spirit in a safe and gentle atmosphere. The holistic approach doesn’t discourage taking pharmaceuticals but in the words of the clinicschiropractor ‘the greatest drugstore in the world is your own body’.

It has the power to manufacture every drug or chemical you need in order to function in a healthy manner. Your body is manufacturing insulin, cortisone, adrenaline, histamines, antibiotics, laxatives and mood-changing drugs. It is a matter of restoring the body’s natural balance.

The National Children's Nurseries Association (NCNA), based in south of Dublin City, Ireland was established in 1988 to promote high standards of quality childcare. We have a membership of 800 organisations throughout Ireland, the majority of which are full day-care providers for children aged 3mths - 6yrs. We offer a range of childcare courses in centres throughout the country including FETAC Level 5 and Level 6 childcare certificate courses. Our main aim is to emphasise the importance of early childhood experiences by working consistently to increase the quality of day-care in Ireland, through education, information and support of all involved in this sector.
