Dutch Classes in Amsterdam

Koentact Language School, Amsterdam:
Founded by Koen Gijzel, Koentact Language School is centrally situated in the city center of Amsterdam at the Elandsgracht, and provides Dutch language courses with a modern and uniquely developed method. The classrooms are located on the Elandsgracht, close to the Westerkerk and the Amsterdam Woonbootmuseum. We offer group, individual, in-company and thematic Dutch language courses.

At Koentact, language courses consist of small groups, practically oriented lessons, linguistic exchange / language ‘dating’ (a language exchange with a Dutch person learning your language) and interactive learning via the internet. Our Dutch language courses are adapted to the needs and requirements of the student. All our courses focus on daily (practical) communication and culture.

All our teachers are native speakers of Dutch, fluent in your native language, highly experienced and well educated individuals. They are enthusiastic and flexible in their teaching approach abd provide a friendly learning enviroment for all students. We provide language experts who are professional and qualified translators. They can translate from all languages to all other languages in different domains (a.o. legal, financial, scientific).

Dutch language courses for all levels from beginner's to advanced are taught through our uniquely developed language method in which practical interaction is essential. In contrast to many other language schools, we try to place our students in groups with similar language backgrounds. This way the teacher can explain difficult grammatical issues in the native language of the student, and of course the teacher mainly talks in Dutch. Also, we organise language exchanges with a Dutch person learning your language.
