The training restaurant enables the students to learn various aspects of food & Beverage in practical situation. The mock bar is a part of F & B services and presentation. They are introduced to the world of Mock tails, Cocktails, Wines and different services methods.
The Multimedia center possesses all modern technology upgraded equipment. It is used on special occasions when illustrations though multimedia are required. Very Soon this center is going to be equipped with video conferencing facility also.
Two separate cafeterias, one of the staff and the other for the students, are incorporated in the main building providing quality snacks and food items from dawn to dusk. They process a total seating capacity of around 100 at a time. Self-vending machine are also being installed in the interest of the students and staff members.

The Library of HIHT is housed in an excellent modern building to support study & research. It is well stocked with a large collection of textbooks and references books, project reports, compact disks, audio and video cassettes as well as subscription to various electronic and print periodical title.
Apart from books, the students have access to the latest magazines, international journals, newspapers and research papers. The library is equipped with all the modern facilities viz photography viz photocopying, audio visual aids, computers, CD ROM databases and internet.

The facility provides the student an opportunity to fully understand the use of computer as an educational tool. All the computers in the computer domes are Pentium 4 and multimedia ready. Hands on experience are given to the students on various applications utilizing current industry software like Fidelio and Shaw man.

Living away from home in new surroundings, and adapting to those new surroundings is not easy task. However, we ensure this transition from home life to hostel life is a smooth one. Hostel staff as well as the teaching staff on campus is there for students in the case of an unforeseen exigency or simply a query.
The Hostel rooms at HIHT are spacious and clean excellent hygiene is ensured through regular maintenance. The dedicated staff for hostel services is quite efficient, helpful and cooperative.
A feedback mechanism is also in place for students to report any untoward incident to the management, and prompt action is taken to address any crisis. While student are allowed the freedom to live independently, the manner in which they exercise the independence given to them is monitored so that no student misuses his or her independence and disturbs the others.
