Italian Study Holidays:
Photo of Italian Language & Culture Courses in Italy Our Italian Study Holidays are intensive, 4-week Italian immersion programs. They comprise 100 hours of study which are divided into 80 hours of Italian language classes and 20 hours of culture lessons. Each student takes four 60-minute lessons per day, from Monday to Friday and further afternoon lessons according to the needs of the students. Added to this are recreational activities such as guided tours and excursions to some of the Marche’s and Italy’s most beautiful cities (Rome, Florence, Perugia, Siena, Venezia etc). The courses are made up of small groups and adapted to all levels - from total beginner to advanced.

- Italian Culture Classes:
Subjects covered include: Italian Literature, Italian History, Art, Cinema, Music, Folklore, Traditions,Gastronomy. Each trip and excursion (Rome, Florence, Bologna, Rimini, the Marche Region, etc.) is presented in class to introduce the historical and artistic beauty of Italy and the habits and customs of Italians. 

- Leisure Activities:
To obtain the best results in the shortest time and to integrate fully with the inhabitants, many afternoon and evening activities are offered. Activities may include dinners with the school, sport, recreational, cultural, and cooking activities as well as excursions and guided tours.

CELI Exam Preparation:
CELI is a qImage of Italian Language & Culture Courses in Italy ualification of the Italian language and internationally recognized by the ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe). In addition, it is accepted as an official qualification by the Italian Ministry of Education and Research and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Dante Alighieri School is an authorized exam centre for CELI Examinations. The qualification is issued by the University for Foreigners of Perugia - which is the oldest and most prestigious Italian institution involved in teaching and research activities and diffusion of the Italian language.

There are three annual examination sessions (March, June and November), taking place simultaneously around the world. Our intensive CELI exam preparation courses prepare you to attain CELI certification. The CELI is made up of six elemental levels (A1-C2): from beginner to proficiency and it the responsibility of our teachers to advise on which examination should be carried out.

DILS-PG Exam Preparation:
DILS states the knowledge anPhotos of Scuola Dante Alighieri, Marche region of Central Italyd the skills that a teacher of Italian for foreigners should have. This is an important qualification which is recognized by all public and private institutions. DILS-PG is a first level certification in DILS offered by The University for Foreigners of Perugia. This exam is held once a year in the examination centers all over the main countries of the world. Scuola Dante Alighieri is a DILS examination center.

Italian + Introduction to Italian Law:
In partnership with the University of Camerino, we offer a four-week Italian Law + Italian Language course which consists of a 50-hour Introduction to Italian Law course and a 50-hour Italian language course. This program has been specially designed for university students, PhD students, researchers, professionals and experts. Italian language classes are offered at 4 levels from pre-intermediate (A2) to advanced (C1). Please e-mail us via our Contact Page for details of our next program intakes for 2012.

- Italian Course (50 hours) at Dante Alighieri Language School:
The aim of this intensive Italian Language and Culture course are to improve or perfect the written and spoken Italian language through the four basic skills (speaking, listening, writing and reading). We also aim to approach Italian culture through guided tours in the major cities and participation in cultural and social events.

- Introduction to Italian Law (50 hours) at the University of Camerino:

Subjects covered include: Private Law; Administrative Law; Civil Law; Constitutional Law; Penal Law and praxis and European Community Law.

The Centro Machiavelli was founded in 1978, and is located in the historic centre of Florence, just a stone's throw from Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio, in the area of Santo Spirito. Founded in 1995, Accademia del Giglio is a private Italian language and culture school based in Florence in the Tuscany region of Italy, approximately 3 hours north of Rome. Our courses are specifically aimed at helping international students to gain proficiency in the Italian language, understand the many aspects of Italian culture and acquire artistic skills.

The school places considerable emphasis on the quality of its teaching. All our teachers have a degree from an approved Italian university, are native Italian speakers who can also speak English and / or French, and have at least 4 years’ teaching experience. Founded in 2005, L'Italiano Porticando is a family-run and friendly Italian language school in Turin, teaching exclusively the Italian language and culture to foreigners. Students will enjoy our inviting and warm atmosphere which allow them to learn easily the Italian language and to get to know many aspects of daily life in Italy.

The lessons are held by experienced mother-tongue teachers using the direct communicative teaching method and motivating the students to participate actively in their lessons and extra-curricular activities: In the afternoon the students have the possibility to join cooking lessons, to take part in wine tastings and in walks in the city centre practicing outside the classroom what they have learned at school.
