Curtin Business School - The Centre for Entrepreneurship

Curtin Business School located in Perth, Western Australia is recognised nationally and internationally for excellence in education and research. The Centre for Entrepreneurship was established in 1995 to provide business development programs for owner-managers of small to medium enterprises. It is the only facility of its kind in Australia. All programs are based on sound research and the premise that theory must be applicable in practice!

Students study a foundation in business, followed by a series of units that develop skills, knowledge and expertise in developing, managing and growing an entrepreneurial venture. Students have opportunities to interact with entrepreneurs and to obtain real-life practical perspectives and experiences in the exciting world of entrepreneurship. Since 1995 the Unit has trained approximately 4000 owners of businesses in WA. Instruction in the courses is primarily from private sector consultants who run their own organisations, but also Curtin Business School academics. The Unit is located within a dedicated and modern training facility in Technology Park, Bentley, Perth.

In April 2000, the Graduate School of Business Administration at Keio University in Tokyo became the first institute in Japan to receive certification from The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (known as AACSB). Only 12 schools outside the United States have been granted such accreditation. All the classes of the MBA program are held in Japanese language.Students will have considerable number of discussions in class as well as reading and writing assignments. These are to be conducted in Japanese, therefore a good command of the language is indispensable for foreign students. Those who want to apply for the MBA Program must have a bachelor's degree, or be expected to obtain before the enrollment in the program. The time of enrollment is April only.

The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), formerly known as the Beijing Institute of Foreign Trade (BIFT), was founded in 1951. The University offers thirteen master's and two doctoral degree programs in addition to twenty-two undergraduate major fields. The University is accredited by the Academic Degree Committee under the State Council. In 1988 the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York acknowledged UIBE's granting the degree of Master Business Administration in International Trade, which leads to the recognition of the above program by all American universities.
