Commits is managed by Commits Educational and Charitable Trust, Bangalore, set up in 2004 to offer quality higher education and training in the areas of media, marketing, journalism, retail, development, finance, management and information technology. The aim of Commits Trust is to create a world-class, state-of-the-art media lab and a university exclusively for communication and media studies, by 2015.

About the University:

The University is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is not an Open University providing distance education. It does not provide education through correspondence. It is not a conventional university having limited territorial jurisdiction. It has jurisdiction throughout the country. The University imparts education outside the country also. The University has its headquarters in Bhopal, with campuses in Noida, Delhi and Khandwa.
