Edmonds Amtrak station is served by Amtrak Cascades and Empire Builder trains to Vancouver, British Columbia, Eugene, Oregon, and Chicago, Illinois.

Located in downtown Seattle near the beautiful waterfront, WAL offers Spanish programs for all levels. Courses emphasize the way Spanish is actually spoken and written. From the first day, participants begin speaking and listening at natural speeds.

The University English as a Second Language (UESL) Program at Central Washington University (CWU) in Ellensburg, Washington, is located in the center of Washington State in the Northwestern US. Central Washington University is a public university with 8,000 students. Popular majors include business, accounting, education and music. Conditional undergraduate admission is offered and the UESL recommendation is accepted in place of the TOEFL. Interesting courses, opportunities to visit undergraduate classes, and experienced, professional teachers (all have master's degrees in teaching English). With schools in Seattle and Eastside (convenient for students from Kirkland, Bellevue & Redmond WA), Sponge is a language immersion school that offers Spanish language classes for young children from newborn through elementary school.
