Lawrence Academy Language Immersion Program for U.S. Students:
Lawrence Academy in Groton, northwestern Middlesex County, MA (1 hour northwest of Boston) is a traditional New England prep school offering 2-4 week residential Mandarin Chinese & Italian Summer Immersion Programs to American students in 7th-12th grades. Study Mandarin or Italian while living on campus alongside international students from China, Italy, and around the world who will study English and American culture. Prior Chinese or Italian knowledge is not required for American students.

Summer language immersion camps for U.S. students ages 12-19:

Students can choose to stay for 2, 3, or 4 weeks. Mornings are spent in Mandarin or Italian language classes. During the afternoon, students participate in off-campus and on-campus cultural and sports activities. Students practice their language skills with their new international friends while participating in evening language enrichment activities (skits or talent shows, bowling, mini-golf, etc.). Weekend excursions to Boston, NYC, the beach, or an amusement park allow for additional opportunities to practice language skills and develop lifelong friendships.

Residential Accommodation:
Students live in Lawrence Academy dormitories with international roommates and share their meals in the dining hall. This program is a true international cultural immersion experience.

Boston Leadership Institute is located in Wellesley, 15 miles west of downtown Boston in Massachusetts, and provides summer enrichment programs for high school students including Applied Physics, Biological Research, STEM Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Psychology, and Neuroscience.

Loop Abroad LLC

LOOP Abroad is an exclusive study abroad summer program for high school students between the ages of 15 and 18. We spend 2 days in Boston, MA before leaving for Thailand.

This summer's program is focused on ecology and conservation, and will take place in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Chiang Mai offers a chance to explore authentic Thai culture and fantastically diverse national parks, while still having modern amenities and world-class health facilities close at hand. Twenty students will live with eight faculty in a private hostel in a gated community.

During the day, the group will explore national parks, mountains, rain forests, and caves, and will publish their findings in an online wiki. Thai language classes, visits to city sites, yoga classes, and other cultural activities fill the rest of our weekdays. Faculty will help students to compose college essays about their experiences. A leadership curriculum is offered.

On the weekends, we head to activities like zip-lining, the tiger nursery, go-karts, the rooftop pool, thai cooking, and Muay Thai.. Highlights include a week living at the Elephant Nature Park and a four-day trek, staying overnight with the Karen Hill Tribe people.

The Young Artist Residency Program (YAR) at The Art Institute of Boston (AIB) at Lesley University in Boston, MA is designed for high school students who will be entering their junior or senior year in the Fall.

This intensive summer art residency program consists of 4 weeks of classes, and art-making is designed to offer a professional art college experience.

Strengthen your portfolio and become the artist you were meant to be through our Young Artist Residency program. Learn the high-tech side of art-making by gaining experience with state-of-the-art computer software and hardware. Students select their own courses, build their own schedules and are in classes Monday through to Friday.

Students live in Lesley University residence halls, minutes from Harvard Square in Cambridge and study art with college professors and graduates of AIB in our Boston studios, just across the Charles River. Located just 20 minutes south of Downtown Boston in a safe, clean, and quiet neighborhood, Boston School of Modern Languages (BSML) is a fully-accredited intensive English language school. In addition to our General English (ESL) courses, we also provide a comprehensive Summer English Program for children and teens (ages 12-18).
