Professional Beauty / Makeup Training Courses:
Cosmetology Course:
- 1500 clock hours
- Full Time: 50 Weeks
- Part Time: 75 weeks
The cosmetology program is a 1500 clock hour program with a modern, up-to-date curriculum with licensed instructors who are skilled and knowledgeable in both basic and advanced techniques. We provide each and every student with a strong foundation that will carry them into the challenging, yet rewarding field of cosmetology. Cosmetologists are in high demand nationwide, as we constantly get calls from salons looking for students that are graduating.
Esthetics Course:
- 750 clock hours
- Full Time: 25 Weeks
- Part Time: 38 Weeks
Our Esthetics program is fun, rewarding, and a great way to start a new, lucrative career in a short amount of time. The program is structured to provide students with the latest information on skin care, including how to perform the most in-demand procedures and services.
Manicuring / Nail Tech Course:
- 600 clock hours
- Full Time: 20 Weeks
- Part Time: 30 Weeks
We provide a well-rounded, comprehensive manicuring program that covers all phases of manicures and pedicures. The course not only prepares the student for the State Board exams, but also for a fast paced, fun, and profitable career as a licensed nail technician.
Cosmetology Instructor Training:
- 300 clock hours
- 10 weeks
The instructor course gives students hands-on experience every day teaching students different practical aspects of their training. Students learn how to make and develop lesson plans; learn classroom management skills, and other important and vital parts of being a professional educator.

Lane College is a small, private, co-educational, church-related institution in Jackson, Madison County, TN which provides a liberal arts curriculum leading to baccalaureate degrees in the Arts and Sciences. It is associated with the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, and is situated on approximately 40 acres (79 miles east of Memphis and 123 miles west of Nashville.)The Bachelor of Arts is awarded to students whose major field is Criminal Justice, English, French, History, Interdisciplinary Studies, Mass Communication, Music, Religion, or Sociology.
The Bachelor of Science is awarded to students whose major field is Biology, Business, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physical Education, Physics, or Engineering.
All students working toward a degree are required to designate a major field on concentration and complete the prescribed courses set forth by the particular area. A minimum grade of "C" must be made in each course which is counted toward the major.
