University of Southern Mississippi School of Music:
The University of Southern Mississippi School of Music is located in Hattiesburg, Forrest County, approximately 85 miles from the state capital, Jackson. Our Entertainment Industry Program is designed to prepare students for exciting and challenging careers in recording, broadcasting, and live production / management fields through two tracks of study - production and management. Both tracks lead to the Bachelor of Science degree.

Entertainment Industry Program:
The curriculum of the program includes a core set of EI courses that all the majors in both tracks are required to complete:

- Intro to Economics
- Mass Media and Society
- History of Recording Industry
- Entertainment Industry Survey
- Entertainment Industry Seminar

In addition, students will select from two distinct emphasis areas (production and management tracks) for additional course work, depending on their career goals.

- Record Company Operations
- Talent Management
- Live Production Business

Some of the mandatory production track courses are:

- Introduction to Video Production

Emily Williams Violin Studio
Courses / Programs
Based at 838 Oakwood St, Jackson MS, Emily Williams Violin Studio offers quality violin lessons to students of all ages and ability levels. Quality instruction is given in the areas of music reading, technique and musicality so that students at every level can be successful!

Emily has 10 years of teaching experience, teaches Violin and String Methods courses at Mississippi College, and is a member of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.

Our teaching style is catered toward each individual student, and we use a variety of method books (e.g., Suzuki), scale books, etude books, and repertoire materials as well as Emily's own teaching materials.

Founded in 1936, Memphis College of Art (MCA) is a professional center of art and design education in Shelby County, Tennessee. • The Ingenium Academy is going online this summer! Virtual Ingenium Summer Music Academy Summer 2022: 19 July to 9 August for high school students & young adults aged 13 to 21. Choose from 6 exceptional week-long programmes and experience online one-to-one lessons with top musicians.

• Located just one hour south-west of London, The Ingenium Academy provides annual residential summer music courses for young musicians from all over the world.

Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI)
Courses / Programs
Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from Mississippi and across the United States.

In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).

TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.

We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.

With a passion for helping young people in crisis, our clinical, educational, and operations staff are among the best in the country.

We are a small program (40 students) which means that we are able to provide a truly unique and customized approach for every student.

Typically our on site student to staff ratio is 5:1. The average stay at our residential treatment center is 12 months.

We create a customized program for each student that requires a minimum of 3 months. However, best results for lasting success are realized through 6+ months of treatment.

TWAI graduates average a 3.5 GPA. It is common for a student to complete 1.5 years of course work in 1 year.
