Chesterbrook Elementary emphasizes a skills-based, comprehensive reading program, beginning in preschool. The essential program is enhanced with literature-based routines for reading and language arts development. In addition, the basic curriculum includes language arts (grammar, composition, penmanship and spelling), mathematics, social studies, and science. Spanish, music, computers, physical education and art are also integral parts of the curriculum.
