For students with little or no prior background in Mandarin, the Institute also offers a six-week long Mandarin Chinese Summer Immersion Academy in New York City. The prog
ram offers full scholarships and is directed especially at disadvantaged youth whose families may not be able to provide them with access to the opportunity to learn Mandarin. For students with a substantial prior background in Mandarin, China Institute offers a seven-week intensive Chinese language program in Beijing, China. KinderHaus German Immersion Kindergarten

KinderHaus is a full-time German immersion KinderGarten, pre-school and after-school program based in Park Slope, in western Brooklyn, New York City's most populous borough. KinderHaus serves NYC's local and international community. Hills Learning is a language school centrally located in Manhattan, NYC (right beside Grand Central Station). We offer Mandarin Chinese language programs for kids, teenagers and adults which combine fun and interactive language activities with quality Chinese language instruction. Our theory is you can't learn language without culture, and you don't learn anything if it's not fun.
We offer group Mandarin Chinese classes which are held at the Hills Learning center. Private Chinese lessons can be held throughout the five boroughs of New York City (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Staten Island) as well as in parts of Connecticut and New Jersey.
Our teachers are available to do lessons at the child’s home, just as long as a parent or legal guardian is present. We also offer online Chinese classes.
