These Spanish language programs for kids include music, dance, art, games and language learning, ensuring that children who take our classes enjoy a fun experience. Based in Montclair, Essex County, northern New Jersey, we at the Language Center for Children offer exciting and fun Spanish, English, French, Italian and Chinese programs for babies and children to 9 years old. We serve families throughout Essex County and surrounding areas such as Bergen County and Hudson County.Our methods are built on techniques using both parts of the brain to stimulate learning. These techniques were established by our gifted and understanding director and teacher, Mr François Thibaut, who nourishes the language learning needs of todays´ children. Our classes are a place to learn, grow and develop, a place where friends and made and foundations laid.

The French Academy of Bilingual Culture
Courses / Programs
With campuses in New Milford, Bergen County NJ, and Morris Plains, Morris County NJ, The French Academy of Bilingual Culture provides quality bilingual (French-English) programs for children. Accredited by both French and American authorities, we offer Nursery through 4th Grade programs at our New Milford school, and Pre-K through 1st Grade programs at our Morris Plains school. A new grade will be opened every year up to 8th grade.The Academy also hosts after-school programs in French, art programs in the summer and language classes for adults. In addition, we have a new school in Jersey City that currently provides after-school French programs, and will offer Pre-K through 1st Grade programs.
Bilingualism is an invaluable opportunity for our children to fully develop, learn - and be raised -equally, in both languages. We believe a bilingual approach benefits children both academically and cognitively, and that learning a second language at an early age is a lifelong advantage.

Happy Mandarin Club

Located just 20 miles west of New York City, in Glen Ridge, Essex County NJ, Happy Mandarin Club is a Chinese language school that provides beginner to advanced level Mandarin Chinese classes for Pre-K to adult students. Courses include weekday and weekend General Chinese study options, Chinese test preparation (SAT & HSK exams), after-school enrichment programs, and online Mandarin classes conducted via WebEx.
Course contents include learning characters, phrases, and sentences; routine conversations; character writing, Chinese grammar; listening and reading comprehension practices; speaking exercises; and the Pinyin system (for ages 8+).
Our club teacher has years of experience in teaching Chinese to students of all levels. Being a native of Beijing, our teacher delivers the most authentic Chinese enunciation to our students. Simplified Chinese is taught and used in all lessons, and traditional Chinese writing practice is also taught upon individual request.

El Taller Latino Americano, (The Latin American Workshop) is a non-profit cultural arts center on Manhattan's Upper West Side in New York - a space alive with color, sound, movement, and creativity - music, art and language converge to educate and entertain.
