The ability to think creatively, independently, and analytically is at the very core of Winchester Thurston's college preparatory program. We foster critical thinking at each grade level, and encourage students to take risks in an environment that rewards their hard work. Academic rigor is carefully balanced with a strong support system, in proportions that shift as students mature and progress through our Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12 program. The ultimate goal is to develop confident, intellectually curious life-long learners.

In addition, time is built into the weekly schedule for study halls to encourage students to prepare assignments, review class notes, and complete homework.

Camphill Special School is a non-profit private Waldorf school located in Glenmoore, Chester County, PA. We offer residential and day academic and prevocational programs, as well as therapeutic care, for children and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities in kindergarten through grade twelve.
