Pasadena Language Center:
Located in beautiful Old Pasadena, Los Angeles County, CA, the Pasadena Language Center is a language school that offers a wide range of English language programs for adults and teenagers. Classes are taught at all levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced, and include Intensive and General English classes, TOEFL Preparation, Weekend & Semester Immersion classes, and more. Our courses include conversation building exercises, group tuition, and private, one-on-one tuition.

English as a Second Language (ESL) Programs:
Pasadena Language Center is a place where you learn a new language in a fun learning environment.  Our interactive classes  are the perfect setting to practice as you learn a new language, new vocabulary and essential grammar rules.

Our goal is to guide you through your language learning experience and to provide you with the tools to communicate in the language of your choice as well as to understand cultural aspects of the target language.

Intensive English Program
Pasadena Language Center offers ESL intensive classes for all levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. These ESL classes are designed for those who are interested in learning grammar the proper way, and improving their conversation skills. Our complete intensive program is 28 hours per 4 weeks, divided in two sections: grammar and conversation.

Semester English Program
Each semester consists of 20 weeks. Students will have 15 hours of language instruction and 5 hours of language lab required per week. ESL semester sessions are offered from September to January (fall session) and February to June (spring session). Student’s class participation is highly encouraged. Besides grammar and conversation classes, students will be responsible for class presentations as well as regular written assignments. 

Weekend Immersion Program
Our weekend immersion program is designed  for all those who want to start learning English, want to further improve their grammar and conversation skills, or need a refresher class. Grammar review, topic presentation as well as topic discussions are part of the weekend immersion curriculum.

Weekend immersion sessions are 4 weeks long, and classes meet every Saturday for 4 hours. We offer classes for all levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. New group lessons start the first Saturday of every month.

Full immersion Program
ESL full immersion sessions are 4 weeks long and classes meet Monday through Friday for 3 hours every day. Classes include reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, and presentations. Students are required to attend a 5 hour language lab per week. There is a total of 80 hours per session for full immersion program.

We offer ESL full immersion lessons for all levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced. This program is designed for those who are visiting the Los Angeles area for a short period of time, and want to take advantage of their stay. 

TOEFL Test Preparation Program
The TOEFL test gives students the opportunity to prove they can communicate ideas effectively by stimulating university classroom and student life communication. The language used in the test reflects real-life English-language usage in university lectures, classes, and laboratories. Undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs around the world require students to demonstrate their ability to communicate in English as an entrance requirement.
