- Pre-Kindergarten
The program is designed to cultivate a sense of wonder at God’s design of the world as well as the ability to think with discernment and make biblical choices. Students are pointed to God’s sovereignty over His creation even in simple things. Students are pointed daily to a uniquely Christian perspective of themselves and the world around them that is filled with patterns such as day/night and summer/winter. Pre-Kindergarteners learn how to interact in a godly manner in the classroom as they work with one another in daily activities. Students begin to learn to make choices as image-bearers of God.

Goals of Pre-K include:

- Elementary School
Our elementary program is staffed with faculty who are professionals with expertise in early childhood development and who embrace their calling to instruct children with a sense of joy and anticipation.  Faculty members seek to identify the individual strengths of each student and welcome communication from parents as the primary teachers to partner together in bringing a joy-filled, wise, and wonderful education to God’s children in an effort to complement godly parenting in the home.

The basic skills of Bible, mathematics, reading and writing form the core of the elementary program.  Textbooks are used in conjunction with manipulatives, games and hands-on experiences to promote mastery.  Students learn problem solving techniques and reading strategies and are challenged to express themselves clearly in written language.  The program of instruction is rounded out through the inclusion of specials instruction in foreign language, music, band, Physical education, Art, Library and computer skills.  The historically rich area in which we live permits our programming to extend through field trips and involvement to historic and community destinations.

- Middle School
Phil-Mont has designed a program specifically for the middle school years that seeks to address appropriate development levels and needs.  The middle school curriculum includes all of the components of a sound liberal arts program including Bible, History, English, Math and Science.  A range of special subjects involves study in fields such as the Arts, Health / Physical Education, Foreign Language and Study Skills.  Classes in the middle school are discussion oriented and foster participation, build confidence, and sharpen skills in both discourse and reasoning.  All takes place within an atmosphere of steadily increasing student responsibility.

The middle school faculty meets cooperatively to develop schedules, prepare interdisciplinary units of instruction and coordinate other special learning and community activities  The middle school program also sponsors a slate of co-curricular activities including field trips, drama, interscholastic athletics, choir, band and special event days.  When a student completes the middle school years at Phil-Mont, he or she is prepared to use his or her full mind, heart, and body in the progressively more difficult and challenging years of high school.

- High School
Phil-Mont’s high school offers an environment which stimulates learning and thinking under the Lordship of Christ.  To prepare students for college and for life, a rigorous program of academic study is required.  The curricular program is developed to prepare graduates for matriculation into colleges and universities of choice.  High school students develop a sense of ownership and pride in their school as active participants in a challenging academic community.

Course offerings include instructional levels of college preparatory, Honors, and Advanced Placement.  96% of Phil-Mont graduates are consistently accepted into multiple colleges of their choice allowing them to be selective in their choices of undergraduate programs as well as affording them excellent scholarship opportunities.  Student life at the high school level is demonstrated through a broadening of student involvement and leadership opportunities including, interscholastic athletics, student organizations, and an excellent program of fine arts covering drama, vocal music, band, and visual arts.
