The German European School Manila (GESM) situated in Paranque, northern Philippines, is a German and English speaking international school that offers programmes from Early Years to IB Diploma (Grade 12). It also offers a bilingual toddler programme for children starting age two. The school has a German Section that caters to German speaking students and a European Section for English speaking students. Both sections lead to the IB-Diploma Programme.
Founded in 1980, the school was initially called José Rizal Schule until 1991 when it was named Deutsche Schule Manila. By 2003, it became part of the European International School and is now called the German European School Manila. GESM provides long-established German education and has since expanded its English speaking section which strongly advocates a European cultural learning environment. The school allows students to be exposed to an open-minded atmosphere where children of all nationalities feel comfortable and are able to learn together under one “European Roof”.

All members of the teaching staff have either passed the two German “Staatsexamen”, or hold an M.A. or equivalent together with teaching qualifications. As a rule, teachers of the German section have at least 2 years of experience in the German system prior to joining the school. Equivalent experience is expected form teaching staff in our European section.
In their function as class advisers teachers are responsible for the day-to-day welfare of their students and they are usually the first point of contact for a parent with a concern. They know their students very well, and they monitor all aspects of a child’s development at school. In the primary school, the class adviser teaches most of the subjects, but in the secondary section, subjects are taught by specialist teachers.

Nanyang Kindergarten was founded in 1934 in central Singaore, southeast Asia. Nanyang Kindergarten was set up as an affiliation of Singapore Nanyang Girls' High School. St Paul American School (SPAS) is an American K -12 school and a member of Nacel International School Systems. We are a private Grade K-12 day and boarding school located in the Clark Freeport Zone on the north-west side of Angeles City in Pampanga, about a one hour drive from Manila in the Philippines. We offer an American curriculum and all core subjects are taught by licensed American teachers and a few local Filipino teachers.
