Eden Christian Academy, Pittsburgh:
With three campuses in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, western PA, Eden Christian Academy is the largest non-denominational school in the greater Pittsburgh area. Established in 1983 we offer programs from preschool through twelfth grades. Eden is an independent Christian school founded as an alternative for parents who desire to send their children to a school that teaches Christian values and has strong academic expectations.

Educational Programs from Preschool through 12th Grade: 

Early Childhood Education:
Eden Christian Academy's early childhood curriculum addresses each area of development according to our mission statement - spiritually, academically, physically, socially, and emotionally. Students are taught using a developmental approach in self-contained classrooms. A solid Biblical perspective will reinforce the application of scriptural principles.

Elementary School:
Eden Christian Academy's multi-faceted curriculum is designed to help students in every area of life - spiritually, academically, physically, socially and emotionally. An individualized approach helps each child reach his/her God-given potential. The curriculum teaches lessons from a Biblical perspective and allows students to apply scriptural principles to their daily lives.

Middle/Intermediate School:
Eden Christian Academy's curriculum addresses each area of development according to our mission statement - spiritually, academically, physically, socially, and emotionally. Students are taught using an integrated approach with a team of specialized teachers working together to plan their program. A solid Biblical perspective will reinforce the application of scriptural principles.

Upper School:
The Upper School's multi-faceted curriculum is designed to help students grow in every area of life -- spiritually, academically, physically, socially and emotionally. An individualized approach helps each child reach his/her God-given potential. The curriculum teaches from a Biblical perspective and promotes a "positive peer culture" that allows students to learn the truth.

Establishing a Christian worldview based on solid Biblical perspectives combined with rigorous academics, competitive athletics and dynamic performing arts programs will prepare students to be future leaders in our community, nation and the world.

Discovery Program:
At den Christian Academy we strive to give every child the best educational experience possible. For some of our students this means getting an extra hand to help them reach their full potential. Discovery is educational therapy designed to stimulate deficit areas of cognitive processing for students who experience learning difficulties. Since 1989, Eden has helped dozens of students through this model program from the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD).

Discovery isn’t a tutoring program, but rather employs therapeutic techniques to develop a student’s perceptual skills and cognitive processing, which should result in improved academic performance and even social skills.

Your child may benefit from the Discovery program at ECA if he or she has average to above-average abilities, yet still experiences significant problems in areas such as:
