With threee campuses in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, western PA, Eden Christian Academy is the largest non-denominational school in the greater Pittsburgh area. Established in 1983 we offer programs from preschool through twelfth grade. Eden is an independent Christian school founded as an alternative for parents who desire to send their children to a school that teaches Christian values and has strong academic expectations. This Christ-centered learning environment has made an impact in the lives of many students throughout the Pittsburgh area.


Location and Facilities:

 

Eden Christian Academy has three campuses in the northern area of Pittsburgh. Our preschool to 6th grade campuses are located in Berkeley Hills, just north of the city centre and in Wexford, approx. 25 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Our 7th -12th grade camous is located in Sewickley, approx. 11 milies northwest of Pittsburgh.

Located just west of Philadelphia in Media, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, The Media Theatre - Broadway Musical Theater Camp offers theatre, acting and voice classes for young children of six years upwards as well as teenagers. Students develop an ability to improvise and to bring one's own personal and honest response to the text or the script. All acting classes within The Media Theatre School of The Theatre follow and 8-week schedule are based on the Sanford Meisner Technique, which follows the mantra "Acting is living as truthfully as one can under an imaginary circumstance."

We also offer acting classes and theatre workshops during winter, spring and summer school breaks. In the summer we offer two week acting camps. This intensive, two-week day camp is a fun, enriching and rewarding experience. Campers write, design, and perform an improvisational theatre production that is performed on the Media Theatre stage for family, friends and the general public. The School of Theatre has been noted for it's professionalism and commitment to solid training for a career in the professional theatre.
