Theater / Drama Classes for Kids & Teens:
Arden Drama School’s classes provide you an opportunity to study with Philadelphia’s top theater artists.

Age Groups:
- Preschool Classes (Ages 2-4 and their caregivers)
- Grades K, 1, 2
- Grades 3, 4, 5
- Grades 6, 7, 8
- Grades 9, 10, 11, 12

Eight-week Classes:
Kids love our behind-the-scenes classes in a variety of theatrical areas (Saturdays or After School study options).

Four-week Special Workshops:
Learn and perform songs from Frozen, Annie or other Disney favorites! Workshops designed for your child to take one class or take all four – each class is a different experience.

One Day Workshops:
Short on time? These one-day workshops fit into any young actor, writer or designer's schedule.

Play-in-a-day (One Day Class)
Kids work together during these full day classes to create a play, culminating in a show for family and friends.

The Media Theatre - Broadway Musical Theater Camp

Located just west of Philadelphia in Media, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, The Media Theatre - Broadway Musical Theater Camp offers theatre, acting and voice classes for young children of six years upwards as well as teenagers. Students develop an ability to improvise and to bring one's own personal and honest response to the text or the script. All acting classes within The Media Theatre School of The Theatre follow and 8-week schedule are based on the Sanford Meisner Technique, which follows the mantra "Acting is living as truthfully as one can under an imaginary circumstance."

We also offer acting classes and theatre workshops during winter, spring and summer school breaks. In the summer we offer two week acting camps. This intensive, two-week day camp is a fun, enriching and rewarding experience. Campers write, design, and perform an improvisational theatre production that is performed on the Media Theatre stage for family, friends and the general public. The School of Theatre has been noted for it's professionalism and commitment to solid training for a career in the professional theatre.
