Located in Newport News, an independent city in the Hampton Roads metropolitan area of eastern Virginia, St. Andrew's Episcopal School has been providing a strong academic education for PreK-5 children on the Virginia Peninsula in a nurturing Christian environment for sixty years. The experience of learning extends past the classroom and textbooks as we reach out to learn from one another and from the community in which we live. We hold tight to the traditions that have served us well while incorporating current curriculum and technology that keeps us in the forefront of elementary schools in our area. From our Pre-kindergarten class through fifth grade, students are challenged by a rigorous academic program as well as music, art, French, computer, physical education, and library.

Philosophy:
St. Andrew’s Episcopal School exists to give a sound academic education within a Christian environment for children in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and grades one through five. Children of all faiths are accepted, respected and taught to appreciate themselves and each other.

St. Andrew’s provides an atmosphere conducive to the social, mental, physical and spiritual development of the students. In such an atmosphere, cooperation, curiosity, creativity and responsibility can flourish. The curriculum is planned to prepare children to become responsible, well-informed citizens in our complex and rapidly changing society. Ivy League Academy is a private Christian preschool and elementary school of high academic standards and strong Christian character building located on Constitution Drive in the center of Virginia Beach in the Hampton Roads Metropolitan Area, VA. Our mission is to build children's character through academic excellence, biblical principles and Christian morals.

Our Lady of Lourdes is a Catholic Elementary School in the Catholic Diocese of Richmond, Virginia. It serves students from Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, with a school population of approximately 400.

There are two classes of each Grade from K - 8th, with 20 to 25 students in each class. In addition to academic instruction, students also participate in music, art, physical education, computer technology, and library, with Spanish language instruction for the 2nd through the 8th grades.

We are Virginia’s only Catholic, military, boys’ school. As an Honor JROTC Unit of Distinction, qualified cadets may be nominated to national service academies as well as for ROTC scholarships.
