Philosophy:
St. Andrew’s Episcopal School exists to give a sound academic education within a Christian environment for children in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and grades one through five. Children of all faiths are accepted, respected and taught to appreciate themselves and each other.
St. Andrew’s provides an atmosphere conducive to the social, mental, physical and spiritual development of the students. Located in Richmond in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Benedictine High School is an independent Catholic military boys' high school for grades 9-12. We are Virginia’s only Catholic, military, boys’ school. As an Honor JROTC Unit of Distinction, qualified cadets may be nominated to national service academies as well as for ROTC scholarships. After completing their course of studies at Benedictine, our students move on to attend many high-caliber academic institutions of higher learning. We also are the nation's largest feeder school to Virginia Military Institute.
