Total Immersion Program:
Berlitz Total Immersion programs are scientifically proven to build language fluency in a short amount of time through intensive individual instruction, seven and a half hours a day for two to six weeks. The focused study builds skills quickly for students to think and speak in a new language.

Group, Semi-Private, and Individual Instruction:
Berlitz offers courses for every interest, need, and learning style, whether it's an urgent immersion for fast results or a casual group to prepare for an upcoming vacation.

Group Instruction:
Some students find it easier and more enjoyable to learn in a group setting. It can be rewarding to share in the goal of learning another language, and to have fun and laughs practicing together. Berlitz group courses are reserved for just 4 to 12 individuals so that everyone is sure to have the opportunity to practice speaking and receive individual attention. We offer group courses at convenient, regularly scheduled times. And since everyone shares in the cost, it's the most economical way to study at Berlitz. Our corporate customers can choose from two convenient options, group instruction on-site at the company or at the local Berlitz Language Center. Either way is an economical, effective choice. 

Individual Instruction:
When you are a private student, you can learn at a pace and on a schedule that's convenient for you. At each lesson you'll spend half your time listening to your new language, the other half speaking it, and the whole time learning. We'll even customize a program to meet your special vocabulary needs.

Total Immersion:
Pioneered by Berlitz in the late 1960's, Total Immersion is fast, effective and intense for when you need language skills right away. It offers conversational fluency in as little as two to three weeks! All day, even during lunch, you'll speak, listen and think in your new language. You'll spend almost eight hours a day, five to six days a week, progressing with your team of native-fluent instructors. Through role-play, such as telephone conversations, business presentations, and making travel arrangements, you are exposed to just about every linguistic setting you'll encounter abroad. When time is critical, Total Immersion is the most effective way to learn a new language-fast.

- English language learning for children / teens:  Berlitz instructors are totally mobile and can travel to conduct classes at schools, camps, clubs and other kid-friendly locations. Our conversational method is effective and gets results. We've been teaching children to speak new languages for 130 years.

Berlitz English instruction for children is second to none. For children ages 4-7, we've an effective curriculum that leads the way to proficiency. For children 8-11, Berlitz offers English Beat, a completely effective and modern program addressing age-appropriate topics with refreshing, timely exercises and materials. Teens 12 and up can study Berlitz English in a regular program or choose English instruction and immersion in American culture at college campuses throughout the U.S. with Berlitz's ELS division.
